U.S. Sugar is taking part in the Clewiston Chamber of Commerce’s Inaugural 4th of July Family Celebration by sponsoring a Kids’ Park with bounce houses, slides and other family-friendly activities.
The free event will start about 4 p.m. July 4 at Sugarland Park near the John Boy Auditorium, 1200 S. W C Owen Ave. in Clewiston. The event will culminate with the city of Clewiston’s annual fireworks display at dark.
The chamber’s Family Celebration will also include a co-ed softball tournament in the morning sponsored by the H.E. Hill Foundation, followed by horseshoe and cornhole tournaments sponsored by the Elect Michael Atkinson for City of Clewiston Commissioner Campaign. A watermelon eating contest will be sponsored by Yebba’s Heating and Cooling.
