CHARLES F. SHIDE

Charles “Chuck” Shide is Vice President Human Resources for United States Sugar Corporation. He is responsible for managing the company’s human resource department which oversees the administration of compensation, benefits, employment, employee relations, labor relations, training, organizational development, payroll and human resource information systems.

He brings to U.S Sugar extensive experience with Fortune 500 high technology, world-class manufacturing and consumer products companies. This includes demonstrated success in organizational development & restructuring, executive assessment & compensation, strategic employee relations, progressive labor relations, mergers & acquisitions and operations leadership.

Prior to joining U.S. Sugar, Shide was Corporate Director of Human Resources for Sunbeam Corporation. Before that he worked in human resource management for the General Electric Corporation. Shide holds a Masters Degree in Labor and Human Resource Management from Ohio State University and a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of North Dakota.

Shide is a member of the Employers Association of Florida and the Society for Human Resource Management.
